Kuldiga is a town on the Venta River in Latvia. The town is famous for having the widest waterfall in Europe (110m): Ventas Rumba.
In 1368, Kuldiga became a member of the Hanseatic
League of trading cities because of its location as a river port with an outlet
to the Baltic Sea.
