The State of Greater Lebanon was a state declared on 1 September 1920, which became the Lebanese Republic in May 1926, and is the predecessor of modern Lebanon.

The flag of Lebanon was adopted on December 7, 1943, when the country gained independence from France.

Church of the Archangel Michael, Dębno | Poland

St. Michael Archangel's Church in Dębno is a Gothic, wooden church located in the village of Dębno dating from the fifteenth-century.

The wooden churches of southern Little Poland represent outstanding examples of the different aspects of medieval church-building traditions in Roman Catholic culture. Built using the horizontal log technique, common in eastern and northern Europe since the Middle Ages, these churches were sponsored by noble families and became status symbols.

Wooden Churches of Southern Małopolska is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Six churches are listed:
- Church of the Archangel Michael, Binarowa
- Church of All Saints, Blizne
- Church of the Archangel Michael, Dębno
- Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Archangel Michael, Haczów
- Church of St Leonard, Lipnica Murowana
- Church of St Philip and St James the Apostles, Sękowa

Rapa Nui | Chile

Easter Island covers roughly 64 square miles in the South Pacific Ocean, and is located some 2,300 miles from Chile's west coast and 2,500 miles east of Tahiti. Easter Island is one of the most remote inhabited islands in the world.

Known as Rapa Nui to its earliest inhabitants, the island was christened Paaseiland, or Easter Island, by Dutch explorer Jacob Roggeveen in honor of the day of their arrival in 1722. Easter Island is world-famous for the 887 large stone statues, or moai.

Rapa Nui National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The Togian (or Togean) Islands are an archipelago of 56 islands and islets, in the Gulf of Tomini, off the coast of Central Sulawesi, in Indonesia. There are 37 villages on the islands, with one settled by the Bajau people, more commonly known as the sea gypsies.

The amazing Bobo Dioulasso Grand Mosque is impressive representative of the traditional Sudano-Sahelian architecture, most likely – the largest building in this style in Burkina Faso. It was built in the end of the 19th century as a result of political deal between local king and Islamic religious leader.

Sea Turtles in Nicaragua

For nearly 6 months out of the year (roughly from July to December), hundreds of thousands of rare sea turtles return to the same beach in which they were born to lay millions of eggs.

There are other places in the world that bear witness to turtle hatching, but Nicaragua is one of only four countries where turtle hatchings occur on such a large scale.

The archaeological site of Yin Xu, close to Anyang City, some 500 km south of Beijing, is an ancient capital city of the late Shang Dynasty (1300 - 1046 BC). It testifies to the golden age of early Chinese culture, crafts and sciences, a time of great prosperity of the Chinese Bronze Age.

Yin Xu is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
