This park features a spectacular limestone karst landscape with an underground
river. With 8.2-kilometer probably the longest navigable underground river
in the world.
Puerto-Princesa Subterranean River National Park is a UNESCO
World Heritage Site since 1999.
Stamps
The stamp on the right is to honor the Higantes
Festival held in Angono on 22nd and 23rd of every November. Main feature of
this festival are the parades of towering giants made of paper-mache, some as
tall as fifteen feet. These giants are locally known as higantes.
