Saint-Émilion is a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in south-western France. Jurisdiction of Saint-Emilion is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

According to UNESCO, the Jurisdiction of Saint Emilion is an outstanding example of an historic vineyard landscape that has survived intact and in activity to the present day. The Romans planted vineyards in what was to become Saint-Émilion as early as the 2nd century.
