Serra da Capivara National Park is a national park in the Northeastern region of Brazil. The area has many prehistoric paintings. This area has the largest and the oldest concentration of prehistoric sites in the Americas.

Pedra Furada, meaning pierced rock, is an important collection of over 800 archaeological sites. These include hundreds of rock paintings dating from circa 12,000 tot 60,000 years ago.

Serra da Capivara National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
