The Kaungh Mu Daw Pagoda is a large pagoda on the northwestern outskirts of Sagaing in central Myanmar (Burma). It is known for its egg-shaped design, which stands out among more traditional-style, pyramid-shaped Burmese pagodas.
The enormous dome rises 46 m (151 feet) in the shape of a perfect hemisphere and was modeled after the Maha Zeti Pagoda in Ceylon.
