Santo Domingo is the capital of the Dominican Republic.  Both by area and population, the Dominican Republic is the second largest Caribbean nation.

Santo Domingo’s Colonial Zone was declared as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The postcard pictures Calle Arzobispo Meriño or, in English, Meriño Archbishop Street which is located in the Colonial Zone.
