The Great Blue Hole is a giant submarine sinkhole off the coast of Belize. 

The 300m wide and 124m deep hole is a part of the larger Belize Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The reef system is the second largest in the world, after the Great Barrier Reef.
