Postcard
Duisburg is a city in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Located at the confluence of the Rhine and Ruh it is the world's largest inland port. Duisburg was one of the alost 200 members of the Hanseatic League or Hansa.
The Hansa existed for some centuries. Originally it was an organisation of merchants, but as their guilds were connected to the towns where they lived, it soon became an organisation for towns.
