Troy is a city which existed over 4.000 years and is known as the center of ancient civilizations. For many years people believed that the city only existed in the Greek and latin literature, like Homer's Iliad and Odyssey. But the ruins of Troy were first discovered in 1822 and excavated from 1870 to 1890.
