The Ionian Islands are a group of islands in Greece. The seven main islands are Corfu, Paxos, Lefkada, Ithaca, Kefalonia, Zakynthos and Cythera. But the group includes many smaller islands.

Zakynthos or Zante is the third largest of the Ionian Islands. The island has 41,000 inhabitants and is a popular tourist destination.
