Patrauti Monastery was built in 1487 and dedicated to the Holy Cross. Today, only the church and a wooden bell tower are still standing from the original monastic complex. Together with seven other churches, Patrauti is part of UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Churches of Moldavia'.
