On August 17, 1825, eleven days after independence from Spain was proclaimed, Bolivia adopted its first national flag. The current national flag of Bolivia was originally adopted in 1851.

Lakshadweep (meaning “100,000 Islands”) is a group of 36 islands in the Arabian Sea, 200 to 440 km off the southwestern coast of India. They are India's only coral atolls.

The red represents the communist revolution; the five stars and their relationship represent the unity of the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

According to Unesco the Centennial Hall is an outstanding example of early Modernism and the innovative use of reinforced concrete structures in the building industry. Centennial Hall in Wrocław is a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The flag of Iceland followed the example of the other Scandinavian countries and consists of a blue background bearing a red cross, which is embedded in the traditional white Scandinavian cross. The blue color is supposed to represent omnipresent Atlantic Ocean, the red lava and Icelandic volcanoes, and the white stands for another Icelandic natural landmarks - glaciers and geysers.
