Postcard
Hampi, a small village in Northern Karnataka, India, was the last capital of the great Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagar. Hampi had very wealthy kings who built many temples and palaces.

The Elephant Stables is a major tourist attraction. This is a long structure with a row of domed chambers which were used to keep royal elephants.
