Jeddah | Saudi Arabia

Postcard
Historic Jeddah, the Gate to Makkah is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Recently I received this card picturing Jeddah. But does the card show a place that is part of this site? So to figure it out I did some research. You can read "Xenel" on the left building. So I googled it.

On the left a satelite image and on the right the Unesco-map of the inscribed property. The card shows the Xenel company building (encircled in red). The yellow line is a street (I marked it for orientation). When you zoom in you see that the red circle is just outside the nominated property.

So the verdict is, no this is not a UNESCO world heritage card.  Little disapointing but stil a nice card.
