Budelli Island | Italy
Postcard
The 'Maddalena Archipelago' is a group of islands in the Strait of Bonifacio between Corsica (France) and north-eastern Sardinia (Italy). The archipelago consists of seven main islands and numerous small islets. One of these is Budelli.
Budelli is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean Sea. It is especially renowned for its Spiaggia Rosa (meaning "Pink Beach"), which owes its typical color to microscopic fragments of corals and shells.
