The national flag of Tajikistan was adopted in November 1992, replacing the flag of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic of 1953.It is no coïncidence that Tajikistan's flag uses a similar color scheme to the flag of Iran. The Tajik people are 'ethno-linguistically' Iranian. Which means something like they share the same roots.
