Flags of the World | Tajikistan
Postcard
The national flag of Tajikistan was adopted in November 1992, replacing the flag of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic of 1953.
It is no coïncidence that Tajikistan's flag uses a similar color scheme to the flag of Iran. The Tajik people are 'ethno-linguistically' Iranian. Which means something like they share the same roots.
