Jaipur City, Rajasthan is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The fortified city of Jaipur, in India’s north-western state of Rajasthan was founded in 1727 by Sawai Jai Singh II. Unlike other cities in the region located in hilly terrain, Jaipur was established on the plain and built according to a grid plan interpreted in the light of Vedic architecture.

The most prominent gate you see on this card is Galta Gate. Actually just outside the boundaries of the Unesco site. The gate in the middle of the card is the Suraj Pol Gate, referred to as 'Gate' on the Unesco map. One of the entry gates of this world heritage sites.
