The Bochnia Salt Mine is one of the oldest
salt mines in the world and the oldest one in Poland. Operating continuously
for 750 years until closure short after World War I.
St. Kinga’s Chapel is one of the largest and best
preserved chapels in the mine. The chapel was established in 1747 and is
located at a depth of 212 m.
