Turtle Island | Thailand

Koh Tao, meaning "Turtle Island" is part of the Chumphon Archipelago. It covers an area of about 21 km². The economy of the island is almost exclusively centred on tourism, especially scuba diving. The island is located 40 km northeast of Koh Samui.

Hin Taa Toh in Thai means Buddha Rock. The shape of the rock resembles a sitting man and is worshiped by the local population.
