Rheda-Wiedenbruck is a city located in the North Rhine-Westphalia area of Germany. It appears that Rheda-Wiedenbruck was a member of the Hanseatic League. But I couldnt find any information about it.
The Hanseatic League was a commercial and defensive confederation of merchant guilds and their market towns. The Hansa existed for some centuries. Originally it was an organisation of merchants, but as their guilds were connected to the towns where they lived, it soon became an organisation for towns.
There doesn’t appear to be a definitive list of Hanseatic Cities. Some were full members of the League, and others had Kontore (trading posts) or simply communities that traded with the Hanse.
