Volubilis is one of Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. Established before the Christian Era, Volubilis was considered the administrative center of the kingdom of Mauretania and also one of the most remote cities within the Roman Empire.
Al Hoceima is a city in the north of Morocco. The island you see on this card, just off the coast, is Peñón de Alhucemas. Together with the islets of Isla de Mar and Isla de Tierra they form the Alhucemas Islands.
Essaouira is a coastal city in Morocco. According
to whc.unesco.org, Essaouira is an
exceptional example of a late-18th-century fortified town, built according to
the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a North
African context.

meaning "Fortified Place" is the capital and fifth largest
city of Morocco with a population of approximately 650,000. The city
is located on the Atlantic coast in the north-west of Morocco. The capital was
